- Prototype casting rods

- Prototype jigging rods

- Prototype lures

We brought quite a few prototype jigging rods to this trip.

Carpenter's approach to jigging rod development is to develop a couple of key rods for each field that will have versatile control in various situation

It is almost impossible to have a range of rods for each situation in jigging because unlike surface casting game, line pressure keeps changing with different current speed or water depth and that sometimes gives more pressure than how it is designed.

There is also need for rod to work on different types of jigs and actions.

Carpenter thinks it is very important for jigging rods to have versatile ability in different situation.

Prototype jigging rods

Some of our prototype jigging rods are very sensitive and able to feel when fish chasing jigs. Anglers are able to apply 'bait action' when/how they wish.
